The Ferrari F40 is one of the most sought after Ferraris by collectors around the world. It combines speed, style and history to make it the crowning glory of any collection. The F40 was produced from 1987 to 1992, with only 1315 vehicles produced. Named the F40 to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary, this car was the last Ferrari designed while founder Enzo Ferrari was still alive. It represents the end of an era for Ferrari, and many collectors are eager to own a piece of history.

The F40 was the flagship supercar to follow the 288 GTO. The design was uncompromising. The Pininfarina composite and aluminum body keeps it lightweight with an updated and evolved version of the GTO chassis. The 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-8 offers 478 horsepower. That kind of power in such a light car allows the F40 to go from 0-60 in 4 seconds, with a top speed of over 200 mph.

Collectors are having a hard time getting their hands on this elusive vehicle, but Montreal collectors now have their chance. If you are interested in the 1992 Ferrari F40 FERRARI Montreal, Ferrari Quebec has one now. The car has original paint and matching numbers. This 1992 European spec model was fully Classiche certified by authorized Ferrari dealer in 2017. Over $100,000 in service was spent on this vehicle in 2017.

Even though the vehicle has only 9,900 km, it has a long history. This Ferrari was originally delivered in Switzerland, where it was never registered for road driving. It was used at special events. When the Ticino Ferrari Club met in 1996, it was driven by Lemans-winning F1 driver Jacky Ickx and Arturo Merzario.

The car was then imported to Japan and spent a few years in a collection along with several other F40s in an impressive collection in Osaka. During this time the car was not registered for road driving. The F40 changed hands for another collector in Japan.

The vehicle includes warranty books, service records, a full tool kit, three original keys and the keys to the fuel door and door lock. Recent work on the vehicle includes new ATL fuel cells in 2016 with new lines installed. New tires were fitted at the time, along with new control arm bushings, spark plugs and fuel injectors. In June 2020, the last service was carried out, including brake flushing and a new battery.

This vehicle runs perfectly and looks absolutely stunning in its original paint. Montreal collectors, you are unlikely to have a chance like this again. This gorgeous 1992 Ferrari F40 can be part of your collection for $2,099,000 Canadian, plus taxes and fees.
